GoScore User Guide

The app allows you to upload PDF files from local storage, external memory, or cloud services such as Google Drive and Dropbox.

To upload PDF files, follow these steps:

1. From the Songs screen, tap the (Add PDF file) button in the top toolbar to start uploading.
2. Select the source location of the PDFs (in this example, they are on Google Drive).
3. To select multiple PDFs, long-press the first file to enable multiple selection, then select the others.
4. When done, tap Select or Open depending on your Android version.
5. Wait for the upload to complete: each file will be automatically linked to a new song and ready for viewing.

You can edit a song in just a few steps. Follow this procedure to complete the operation easily:

1. From the Songs screen, select the song to edit by performing a long press.
2. Press the (Edit) button in the top toolbar.
3. The song editing window will be displayed, where you can update the title, artist, key, BPM, duration, notes, and the associated PDF file.

Managing the associated PDF

You can manage the PDF file associated with a song directly from the edit window. Press the button in the PDF section to select a new PDF to associate with the song.

Page reading order

GoScore allows you to configure the Reading order of a song’s pages without modifying the original PDF. This feature is useful, for example, to repeat a page, skip one, or adapt the reading to the performance.

1. In the PDF section, press the menu button to show the page management tools.
2. To move a page, drag it using the handle and release it in the desired position.
3. To duplicate a page, press the icon next to the page you want to repeat.
4. To remove a page from the Reading order, press the icon.
5. To restore the original page order, press the icon.

After editing the song or updating the PDF file, remember to press the (Save) button in the top toolbar to confirm the changes.

The changes will be applied immediately and visible in the song list.

To delete one or more songs, follow these steps:

1. From the Songs screen, perform a long press on a song to activate selection mode.
2. Tap the other songs you want to delete to add or remove them from the selection.
3. When you have selected all the songs to delete, tap the (Delete) icon in the top bar.
4. Confirm the action to permanently delete the selected songs.

You can add one or more songs to a setlist or a tag in just a few steps. Follow this procedure:

1. From the Songs screen, select the song or songs to add. To enable multiple selection, perform a long press on the first song, then select the others.
2. Once the selection is complete, press the (Add) button in the top toolbar.
3. In the window that appears, choose whether to add the songs to a Setlist or to a Tag.
4. Based on your choice, select the desired setlist or tag (or create a new setlist or a new tag) and confirm the operation.
5. After confirmation, the list will be updated showing the newly associated songs.

The songs are now associated and ready to be played or organized.

To create a setlist, follow these steps:

1. From the Setlists screen, tap the (Add setlist) button in the top toolbar to create and display a new setlist.
2. On the Setlist screen, enter the setlist name and optional notes.
3. Tap the Ok button to confirm.

To edit a setlist, follow these steps:

1. From the Setlists screen, perform a long press on a setlist to enable selection mode.
2. Once the setlist is selected, tap the (Edit) icon in the top toolbar.
3. On the Edit setlist screen, update the information you want to change.
4. Tap the Ok button to confirm.

To duplicate one or more setlists, follow these steps:

1. From the Setlists screen, perform a long press on a setlist to enable selection mode.
2. Tap the other setlists you want to duplicate to add or remove them from the selection.
3. Once all desired setlists are selected, tap the (Duplicate) icon in the top toolbar.
4. Confirm the action to duplicate the selected setlists.

To delete one or more setlists, follow these steps:

1. From the Setlists screen, perform a long press on a setlist to enable selection mode.
2. Tap the other setlists you want to delete to add or remove them from the selection.
3. Once all setlists are selected, tap the (Delete) icon in the top toolbar.

6. The songs will be associated with the setlist and ready to be played.

You can remove one or more songs from a setlist in just a few steps:

1. From the Setlists screen, tap the setlist you want to remove songs from.
2. On the Setlist screen, perform a long press on a song to enable selection mode.
3. Tap the other songs you want to remove to add or remove them from the selection.
4. Once all songs are selected, tap the (Delete) icon in the top toolbar.
5. Confirm the action to remove the selected songs from the setlist.

You can easily reorder the songs in a setlist using drag and drop. Follow these steps:

1. From the Setlists screen, tap the setlist where you want to change the song order.
2. On the Setlist screen, tap the (Unlock) button in the top toolbar.
3. The songs are now unlocked and ready to be dragged.
4. To move a song, perform a long press on the song, drag it to the desired position, and release it. The position numbers will be updated automatically.
5. When finished, tap the (Lock) button to confirm the new order.
6. The songs will now be in the new order and ready to be played.

To create a tag, follow these steps:

1. From the Tags screen, tap the (New tag) button in the top toolbar.
2. On the New tag screen, enter the tag name.
3. Tap the Ok button to confirm.

To edit a tag, follow these steps:

1. From the Tags screen, perform a long press on a tag to enable selection mode.
2. Once the tag is selected, tap the (Edit) icon in the top toolbar.
3. On the Edit tag screen, update the information as desired.
4. Tap the Ok button to confirm.
